Hi,

Expedia informed me that the ticket was cancelled by airline in the end of December
2008. After many calls and e-mails, and calls again, and promises that the refund
will be issued, the refund has not been issued yet. I realised that they lie just a
couple of weeks ago. They stopped responding to my e-mails, and when I call, each
time they say the same things that they call to airline company, and the company
should issue the refund, but to no avail. I have all the e-mails supporting the
case. However, they deleted this cancelled iternary from my account. They own me
about $350.  I understand this is not a huge sum, but still I would like to know
what are my options. Is it possible to sue them? Where can I hire a good lawyer to
sue Expedia. I am not living in the USA. Could you please help me with advise?

Thank you,
Vlad.

Our Response:

Hi Vlad

Unfortunately EXPEDIA is a scam. The only thing you can do to recover your
money is through your credit card. My credit card (VISA) helped me to
recover 1254,95 U$D when EXPEDIA tried to scam me. Contact them and
provide all the information you have.

EXPEDIA is difficult to sue because they are protected by the "Governing
law" that you automatically agree when you accept their "terms and
conditions". According to that law you have to sue them in a court in King
County in Washington. That will cost you a lot of money and is not worth.

They will keep scamming people until everybody is aware. Try to recover
your money through your credit card and tell everybody about your bad
experience.

It is the only way to stop them.
Feel free to contact me if you need more info and keep us updated
